Trina Stevens established Brightfutures in September 2000. Trina has a strong background in marketing project management, involving the delivery of a solution to meet customer and company needs. She works with clients to develop and implement strategies for all elements of the marketing mix.

Trina has a practical, systematic and energetic approach to her work and is committed to quality and measurable results.

Trina holds an A-grade BCA from Victoria University with a double major in Marketing and Industrial Relations.

Trina worked in a wide variety of senior marketing roles for Telecom New Zealand for 10 years prior to starting her own business. In her last role for Telecom, Trina was the Marketing Project Leader for the very successful and profitable marketing initiatives to support Telecom's sponsorship of the 1999-2000 America's Cup.

Since starting Brightfutures, Trina has worked on a variety of large marketing projects with commercial and public sector organisations including:

  • Contact Energy: The establishment and leading of Contact's Green Office programme throughout 2007 won Trina a Gold Award at the New Zealand Marketing Awards in early 2008. The Green Office programme contributed significantly to the winning of the Sustainable Business Network 'Emerging' award for Contact in 2007. Trina led a number of other significant projects for Contact, such as development and implementation of a wide range of initiatives to retain house moving customers.
  • Accident Compensation Corporation: The year-long customer satisfaction and culture change project that Trina led won a Silver Award at the New Zealand Marketing Awards in March 2005
